Power problem - help troubleshooting please.

Roninva:
I have 2 CDS games, I blew a fuse on one trying a different hopper from a different CDS game.
The other CDS game I have is identical, except for the game name itself They are On The Money and Boot Scootin.
When the fuse blew, it only took out the big fuse on the right, the 6 amp one. I replaced it and everything came back on but the red digital display on the front and the game doesn't come on.
The 24v/5v lights do not come on on the backboard. The manual says check the fuse, the lights, the cable and if not that, replace the 24v/5v power supply, the top one. The bottom one is 12v/5v.

I took the power supply out of the On The Money game since it is working and put it in the Boot Scootin and it did not work.
I put the power supply in the On The Money from the boot Scootin and it didn't work to power up the good game.

The power suplies are identical, so the one from Boot Scootin must be dead and there must be another problem delivering power to it in the Boot Scootin.
 Where do I look next?

Roninva:
Ok, got the power supply to work in the Boot Scootin, not the original, the one from the On The Money. Had the power in off a pin so it wasn't getting power.

Still not working the game. I have power out, it lights up the Backplane board with e 24v/5v lights like it should, but still no action to the displays on the front (credits, coin in, etc) So the game isn't powering up.
I saw my post from when I got the game and which plug was making that happen, reseated it, but still nothing.

Any thoughts out there?

Roninva:
Ok, nobody is tossing in their assistance, but here is where I am. I put in a good power supply from my other game and it is at least powering the backplane lights. Bad part is, no game still. On the game board, there is a resistor that is burnt as well, so I put the game board from On The Money in to the Boot Scootin game. I noticed I am NOT getting Isolated 5v power on the light indicator on the game board. Where can I trace the 5v? The power supply is pooping out 5v, I tested it. Where does the 5v wire lead so I can start tracing it? I'll post a picture of the burnt board tomorrow.

Should I just scrap this game and part it out? Parts are impossible to find.

Parts are impossible to find ??????

You haven't looked very hard, we have had 100+ games in classified section for several months.. come get a complete game or 2 or 3 for spare parts at what a cpu would run you (In VA)

I tried to email you about something in the past. Toss me a phone number, please!
