Hi all
I need hlp with a gamemaker monitor

Horiz size is to wide , you cant adjust it.
i suspect a small cap 50v/4.7 uf near the flyback.
after replace i can adjust the size back to normal.

the problem is after 3 or 4 days the cap blow again.
i change it with higher voltage caps and still blows it. Duh!

Does somebody had the same problem i face here?.

Cheers,
Berto

It sounds like you have a transistor or a diode leaking. You need to trace back,
and look for a resistor that's probably going to be way off the specified ohm rating,
and also withen that circuit you'll probably also find the leaking semiconductor.

thanks joey , jeff.

i replace diode's , resistor's and also the D1138 transistor and still the prob.
everything that lead to that circuit
you can feel that the cap is getting hot and blow.

i have two of the monitor with the same problem.

cheers,
