Is this a standard 3 reel any progressive hooked up ? Did you pull board, change chips ?

I would try to reseat MPU and unplug other devices such as BV and ticket printer, turn back on and see what happens.

It means that your vfd on the left bottom side of the reel glass is not functioning properly or not at all.

I have seen that message before and it shows up on the red L.E.D. Win/Credit meters.  I would agree, it means the VFD is not connected or working...

Swap VFD with good part would be the quickest way. Had a short in the netplex top board before and gave me the message "no disp" fixed short and VFD came up. As always you hope for the quick fix but sometimes not so lucky.

The "no disp" on the right is telling you the VFD display on the left is not working ..bad VFD or possible other reasons

The vfd Board is not flashing as aways. So I think the VFD Board needs to be replaced. What HAPPENED IS A Bulb fell behind the plate behind the vfd board. so i had to take off plate & disconnect the vfd board to get the Bulb & the power was off. but when i put it all back together no disp came up.

FYI - there is a guy selling the VFD displays on eBay right now for $5.99...you may want to check it out....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=180318767731

I bought one from him to have as a spare and since they were so cheap...turned out to be brighter than one I had in a machine - so I swapped it out and it looks great...your mileage may vary Smiley

BUT, there may be nothing wrong with your display itself...could be the controller board the display plugs into.  Do you have another working machine you can swap parts with to test??
