I have a s 2000 game that I reciently converted to accept coins but when I drop coins in it accepts them and adds to the credits but can not pull the handle or spin reel button does not work but it all works when playing with credits.

I'm not actually sure...but it sounds like a "coin-inhibit" problem....such as the wrong coin mech or harness...
some harnesses use that little red loop back wire in the coin mech harness...I believe it's for the coin inhibit...
sounds like your coin optics are okay though... Scratch Head
I had a similar problem once and cannot remember for the life of me if
I had solved it by going thru the SET chip options or clearing the ram.
sometimes it's a setting...look up the PSR for your SP chip and
check to see if there's anything in it about it in the options pages pertaining to the SET up chip.

Hi Darell,
   I may be wrong but, it sounds like you have it set for coin to credit.  This will add all coins to the credit meter and you would have to press bet one then pull the handle or bet max to spin the reels and use the credits.  I set my multi-denom games like this and start with $.01 accounting denom, quarter coin, so the quarter gives 25 credits on the penny setting.
