Hi,

Does anyone know who has a good selection of S2000 reel strips?  I have been on a hit and miss hunt trying to find a baclkit "Triple Double Stars."  When I got my pretty new machine, I figured I would clean the strips.  Sadly, I didn't know that the S2000 strips, unlike the S-Plus Strips, would smudge bawling!  I couldn't believe it.  Needless to say, I stopped, but I am still left with one severely damaged strip.  So if anyone out there knows where I should look, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks...

I did the same thing to a Double Diamond strip.
If anyone has one strip I'd be interested.

also is there a way to clean that doesn't damage reels strips????

thanks

Hey Bob,
Do you know the strip number on the damaged strip?

Thanks,

I recommend water and very gentle soap.

I recommend water and very gentle soap.

I don't recommend this on certain strips that are not coated.  No liquids at all, not unless you want a strip with no symbols on it.

Spin inc, shows Triple Double Stars strips on their site

Thanks all for the info.  I was notified of a source for aftermarket (repro) strips.  Don't know much about those.  Anyone have any experience w/ them?  Worth doing, or should I just keep looking for used OEM? Again, thanks!

The stuff is as nice as it could be for repro./glass.  It does not however have the "exact" quality as mint nos or mint used.  But on hard to find/get stuff it's the way to go.
