I'm setting up my first S2000's and was wondering if anyone had a reccommended options settings for home use.  One has a printer, BV and coin acceptor, the second one does not have the coin acceptor.  I'm interested in your ideas for setting credit mode, hopper limits, etc.

thanks
Bob

I find this to be user pref rather then a recommended setting but out of the box default settings are fine for most.  So most of my S2000 basic machines are 25 cents and have a max $25 hopper payout (the rest goes to a handpay rather then having to refill a hopper all the time). For the others with a printer I let the printer do everything and actually set the hopper payout to zero and or just have it accept coins but no payout.  If no coin in then bill in paper out, I set the MAX jackpot for a handpay to $1200 or more.  Since it has a printer I really leave the handpay to the default setting rather then changing it.  I think you are going to see folks will answer with their own pref rather then a industry standard which will vary state to state and casino to casino.

This is all user preference rather then a recommended setting.

My preference on S2000 Vision is to have Payouts up to 1,000 coins with hand payout above that...

HOWEVER, I do have Both my S+ and S2000 BVD's set to not accept bills if credits are above 600 which helps keep things in perspective...

Both take coins (25 cent) with no limit

I set my S2000 limits as folloiws:
$0.00 Hopper -- disconnected the solenoid so all tokens go to hopper
$100,000.00 Credit
$100,000.00 Jackpot
$3000.00 Bill
$1 denomination
$50 per coin (each coin gives 50 credits)

S+  SP1137
Hopper at 0 or 1
others at 9999
$0.01 denom
tokenized for 50 credits per token
eventually will change it to $1 denom since I have a S+ spectrum connected to it. have to find my Set 89 chip (it is currently unlabeled chip)

Cash out on either machine causes a Hand pay condition.
