Hello all I am new to the S2000 series I have a Tabasco machine 2000 model 9'with ticket printer and wba12
My first question is my printer is working it cashes out is there a way for it to accept the ticket back for credits into the machine
not sure if I would have to disable validation for this to work as I read in other threads and I dont really have the menu # for it
also would I need a keychip which leads me to my 2nd question which keychip works on my tabasco does it have something
to do with the rev of the machine if so how do I find that so I can post back here to get the right chip # and what can I
expect to pay for a keychip.

Thanks to all ...also I installed the resistor mod to stop the hum as it was very bad on my machine
those pictures were worth 1000 words, I have learned alot here and would like to thank the site
and all the great people that post info......Tim applause

For any machine to accept a ticket it has to be validated by a ticket validation system, not something that has been accomplished in the home.
A machine that is in a casino, the machine that prints the ticket sends the amount, ticket number, etc to the validation system. When a machine attempts to accept a ticket the machine sends the same info to the validation server, if the ticket is valid the machine accepts the ticket adds the value to the machine.
That is why you can't take a casino ticket and duplicate it.
Just think of what would happen if the tickets were not validated each time they are inserted into a machines BV.
Theft, Fraud, forgery, etc.

I am sure I have over simplified the validation, but that is basically how it works.

Key chip would depend on version of MPU, Base chip, and Game chips.

You need to keep validation off to print tickets.

You read the SB, Game and Version in Accounting, then Version. MPU you have to physically pull the MPU, if your chps are labeled properly they will also have the information on them.

Contact Jim at Blueridge Slots (see banner above) and give him your SG number, he has the chips at a reasonable price.
