Good day for all,

I have a WMS BB2 and is connected to a computer through RS232 and SASTest. I can see exceptions that sends gaming machine (like open slot door, game has started, and so on), but it doesn't responds long polls. I've revised connections and jumpers and everything is ok.
Can be a problem with game, with jurisdiction chip? Anyone else has this happened?

Thanks for attention.

Yes Ian, I have many WMS-NXT that work good with similar configuration. As I wrote, gaming machine sends exceptions, therefore, machine receives general polls 81 (address machine = 1) and 80.

Thanks for response.

Whats is the OS version? Do You have similar machines with the same OS that do work?

keep in mind that the SAStest .. should contact the machine right through a direct communication with the pc with RS232 9 PIN CONNECTOR PC, should not be used with adapter that some events will not show

if you see events means that the machine is communicating

Another problem may be due to the setup configuration

I have seen long poll commands set up using AFT enabled... This set up shows  "Inhibido" = Diabled.... Also, the long poll comands I use are working on standard validation set up. Here in the picture it shows advanced validation. It does not mean it will not work but I have not tried it that way before. But also... if you have a data analyzer you can look at the commands between the two devices. Sometimes SAS commands are set up wrongly. Primarily, what do you need from the machine while using the long poll commands? Then we can deduce which command subs are needed.

usually when i see long polls not being responded to it has to do with timing. between the sending of the address byte with parity set and then command byte with parity not set.

not sure if those machines has the comm analyzer built in, but on an igt video machine i can see when wakeup bit set and the rest of command

the reason generpolls dont get affected by ythe timing is becuase the the address ored with 80 is all that is needed for a general poll so timing not a factor

I need to use long polls for accounting and TITO, therefore validation is enhanced. With standard and system gaming machine doesn't respond to long polls anyway. I will inspect commands as zarobhr wrote.

Good day to all,
the error was USB Serial converter driver,it seems not fully simulates the serial port  when I connected machine serial port to PC worked very well. Now it works with my own board. Thanks to all.
