The WMS 400/40X manual I have only lists 4 optic and a 6 optic boards, WMS board numbers A-18097-00 and A-18097-01. What is the number off the board you are looking for? Also, you might get more people to see your message if it was in the Classifieds area with a WTB heading.

No. I have the one with 6 eyes and it includes the entire bracket that mounts to the door, with the solenoid for the diverter and the optics.

PM me your address and I'll send you one for free. Make sure it fits for the 40X machines because I thought the 6 eye sensors were for the 550's rokgpsman posted that these will fit the 40X, but I have never tried.

I just double-checked, the WMS 400/40X manual, on page 3-5 toward the back, lists both the quad and the hex optic boards as part of the coin diverter assembly. They don't show any asterisks or notes indicating that the hex optic board is for a special model or situation. And the coin chute that the optic boards mount on only shows one part listed, so I guess it works ok with either the 4 or 6 optic boards. I figured the 6 optic boards were a product improvement, like maybe for better sensing when smaller coins are used? From what the manual indicates you can use either board in a WMS 400/40X machine.

On a different page (1-5) a chart showing all the circuit boards used in the machine shows that the quad optic boards are only used on the "Upright Slot" models (which I take to mean 400/40X), whereas the hex optic boards are used on all models in production at that time (Upright Slot, Bartop Video, Upright 17" & 19" Video, Slant Top 19" Video and Slant Top).

Thanks for the info.
I'm sending Paul two of the for free and he'll test them in his machines.
I would do that here, but all my WMS machines are wrapped up and put away for now as I have moved off that platform and on to other machines.
