got a call from someone with a wms 360 slant top multi video poker machine.  says the battery is dead.  -i've worked on several jackpot party, reel em in etc. but never seen a poker machine version.  he sent a pic,  looks exactly like the bronze slant jackpot party cabinet.

without actually seeing machine, my question is cpu same type? does it take the same type of lithium battery and will the xu3 clear chip for jkp party reel em in, work in the poker machine? -seems like battery replacement requires using the 8 meg clear chip and going through birth mode...

The multiplay poker set I have only works on the 1.5 board with the piggy back board.  It is the same lithium battery.  I think I used one of the set denomination clear chips, but I see no reason why the 8meg clear chip wouldn't work.

I would assume the boards either the 1.5 with piggy or the 1.5plus board.  In either case your clear chip should work.  If I recall, that game uses both 4meg and 8meg chips. So you will need to move the jumper.

it was almost the same as a jackpot party machine,  i replaced the lithium battery in holder, games came up when machine was powered up, (didn't have to do a ram clear.)

thanks everyone for the help
