I just cleared and did a set denom on my double diamond machine and when I got to the part for payback %, all it had to offer was 99.3%, so I went with that. After all my other settings was complete, the machine cycled as it should then I got this error. Anyone know how to resolve this?

Thanks,

David

Are you using a SB001000 chip and a S-Plus SS chip?

St0014 tournament chip will not work in a s2000. We have all tried it with no success!! Put a regular SS chip in and you will be good to go.

No

SP are game chips for the S-Plus only. You can use S-Plus SS reel chips with the SB001000. The St0014 should be replaced with a ss3362 or any other Double Diamond 3cm SS chip

it is a double diamond 3 coin. The tournament ss chip is what came with the machine. The only other SS chips I have are:

ss4705
ss6289
ss6291
ss3668
ss8189
ss7848
ss7549

Can I use one of these?

If it is the Double Diamond 3cm, you can pull out the st0014 and the SB001000 and replace it with a single chip ... SB100054 That way it will be running s2000 software

it is a double diamond 3 coin. The tournament ss chip is what came with the machine. The only other SS chips I have are:

ss4705 double black jack
ss6289 triple diamond deluxe
ss6291 triple diamond deluxe
ss3668 black jack
ss8189 triple dollars

ss7848 10 time pay
ss7549  triple RWB

Can I use one of these?

NO Sorry. 6289 and 6291 would be close but not the correct payout as the strips are different. But the machine would work, you just would not know what you are winning.  Tongue Out

All I am really wanting to do to this machine is get it to take quarters, I have already installed the coin head, hopper and coin mech. I did notice that the only other choice on the payback % was to disable it. Is that an option that I can use or will that not work?

The ST chip will not work at all!!! it is a Tournament chip for the S-Plus platform ONLY. SB001000 is a generic chip that allows the use of SS reel chips from the s-plus. In the S-plus the reel chip determines the game title and percentage. The SP chip was the game chip that determined the game type, nudge, plain, spin till you win ect. In the S2000 the SB chip determines the game title and has all the payback percentages on it and the SG chips 1&2 are the game types. I suggest you get rid of the ST and the SB001000 and put a single SB100054 chip in it and set it up to do what ever you want it to do and at the percentage you want.
