I have a S2000 5X Pay wild I am trying to get running. This is my first S2000 stepper and I am starting from scracth as far as knowing anything about them. It powers up and goes until the display stops at "Please select WAMM or IPC" the display also shows the denomination,($1.00), closure MB and "Call Attendent". I haven't found those terms in any of the set up menus. Does anyone know what thisis? Thanks, Gene

You will need to key17 the machine with no credits on it and set the Wamm/Ipc to Wamm. Hope this helps.

Thankyou idylewild1 and ohiogaming. I have a key 17 used for the gameking video.  Before  I plug it in,  Is that the same key17 thats used for the S2000? I do need a clear 97 to change it from a $1 game. Does anyone have one to sell?

You will need the clear97 to get below the dollar denom, also what version chip do you have in the machine and are you planning on setting it up for multi denom???

I think you two are all wrong. Why would you have to do a clear to change the denomination?? With 0 credits on the machine go into Key menu and set Denomination for what you want.  Scratch Head Scratch Head Scratch Head

The lowest denomination used for play can not be lower than the accounting denomination.
if accounting denomination is $1 you can not set game for denomination below $1.

You can not change the accounting denomination unless you do a full clear.
Maybe the older SG versions might let you but SG 363 will not allow it.
I have tried a few times to change the accounting denomination on mine.
Which in a Casino requires a full detailed accounting report/audit to be done on the machine before it is cleared.

7.1 Key Chip Config

of accounting units. The denomination selected determines which
denominations are available for the hopper/coin acceptor and playerselectable

NOTE: RAM and EEPROM must be cleared prior to changing the accounting unit
denomination.

7.1.1.2 Coin Denomination: This value must be set to the denomination of
the hopper and coin acceptor. The value can be set from the Operator Menu
after turning the machine on for the first time; subsequent changes require the
key chip. The available denominations are 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20,
0.25, 0.50, 1, 2, 2.50, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, 100, 200, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,000,

Thankyou to everyone for their response on this topic. I earlier tried to post a detailed story of todays S2000 work but it apparently disappeared into cyberspace. To make a long story short with a Key 17 ck sum d1AF, (another Key 17 EDA8 didn't work) I was able to change it's denomination and clear the WAMM/IPC error. The game is up and running. Missing one channel of audio, spkrs ok.  I would like to get a service manual and information on procedures for using the clear and key chips if anyone has it emailable or for sale. Thanks, Gene
