Now that was a poorly worded topic.

When you have a multi line game is there a set of lights that illuminate each line that is bet?

Kind of, the side lights up. See pic attached. All 5 are lit.

Ok .. so I can light it so all the lines are illuminated, but not the individual lines. ii.e. 4 lights/line lit when 4 coins are bet.

There's a light box that plugs into a harness already in your door, they're hard to find sometimes but they're around. Each coin inserted/bet lights up the line that bet is for. 1 coin lights 1, 2 coins light 1 and 2 and so on...

Brianzz and Scratchee

Yes, that is exactly what I was expecting to see. Looks like I will need to post a WTB once I am able to sell my extra kidney - or - maybe the first of the month.

It's called a 'stepper light box' (or 'light stepper box' if you prefer), so you know what to ask for.  propeller

Make sure to specify if you're looking for an S+ or S2000 in your ad, as I believe the boxes are different.  I (and some other members) have the S+ mounting brackets, thanks to another member on here who spread them around.  I'm not sure how they mount on an S2000, though.

Afternoon Y'All

Thanks to Scratchee the stepper light arrived today. It slipped in like a ............. .................. Well ........ real easy.

Now I need to get some power to it. Once I get the wiring, where does the loose end go?

On the S+ version, there's a little plug on the stepper box board that the wiring harness that's in the door hinge plugs right into -- I presume it'd be similar with the S2000...

If you look in the corner of the door.. see first pic.. stick your finger up in there behind the ribbon cable and you should see an empty plug.. see picture 2 of it pulled out

it may be zip tied up into the other wires in there, in which case you'll have to cut the zip tie and pull it out.

 Knagle and BrianZZ

I see that plug down by the main wire harness for the door, but like with many things it was just a little short (about 4 inches) I'll go poke around with it in a bit and see if I can make it longer.

if you stick your fingers in behind the black tubing, right where it's zip tied.. you'll feel the main harness for all the buttons.. your line light power is on that rats nest of wires. You should be able to see the plug hanging in there somewhere.. just find the black plug, should have brown, browner, brownest, brownerest , red and brownerest with a black stripe and a black wire coming out of it, If you follow those wires you should come to where it's all tied up, cut that white plastic tie and pull it out.. should give you enough slack to plug it in. I wouldn't suggest just jerking as hard as you can on it, as I usually do, ends up costing you a lot more work in the long run.

BrianZZ

The difference is remarkable. I wasn't expecting it to blink the winning lines as well as the coins played - that is certainly an unexpected bonus.

Again - EVERYONE - Thanks for your help !!

For the lights to blink on the winning line - is that just an S2000 feature?

The S+ doesn't blink. All paid lines stay lit.

The Wms40s Dotmations (like Jackpot Party) turn off the losing lines and leave the winning ones lit, but they don't blink. Incidentally, the Wms uses the lights to illuminate signage in cm games, and the program just leaves them lit.

On an S+, if you leave the shadow box in place and run a cm game, only the last coin inserted light gets lit. In other words, line 1 is lit when you bet one coin, then line one turns off and line two lights when you bet two coins, etc. It's best to disconnect it.

They do...they look like this.
It requires a special Molex connector and harness
to protrude from the door harness.
You may also need a certain door mount for it also,
not to mention - the correct reel glass too.
It will cost one many Ben Franklins after the dust is settled....lol

Just the light stepper box?  Yes, they made them in 3-line and 5-line for the S+ and S2000 (different boxes for the S+ vs. the S2000).
