bust gut laughing People will never cease to amaze us Bunker. It's a lot better than not having this site and these people to share information with though yes It probably wouldn't be nice to have a sign on the homepage that said  "WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE, AT ANY TIME OR NO TIME, FOR ANY REASON OR NO REASON, ALL WHO ENTER BEWARE!" bust gut laughing

lol

"I'm sorry...I can't help you there PB"
I don't have any on my computer. I can forward you some nice photographs of machines though?"  Crazy

Anyways, upon initial inspection under the microscope...lol...do you see any "missing parts" ? Jeesh!!!! Tongue Out
The left board is the one I had in it to try to light up the bonus reel lights.
The right board is a spare but doesn't light up either.
The bottom photo is a close up of the IC components I may need to swap to try and make one working board... bawling
What are those IC components called? Capacitors?
My guess is hat the black painted side of these things would be the [Gnd] solder points.
I have to look for some schematics on this board to see if I can correctly power it up to see if all the SMD LED's are okay.

Pull out the Mouser catalog and start looking thru the Cap section. Should be easy to find.

lol You may be right Buzz !!
I got it from a member here on NLG actually... rotflmao
Anyways, look at how all that's left is the remains of the circuit trace copper
lifted up ( you can see it at the broken tip of my Exacto knife...I think I need a new blade...lol )
as someone tore off the IC component off the board..argh!!!

In the second photo below, I found what appears to be someone with a careless screwdriver
ripping and scraping across the from the corner of the board into the C12 IC component.
I'm not sure if the exposed leg is the result of an over-cooked IC
or the dummy with a screw driver hitting it... bawling
Either way...I'm screwed... bust gut laughing rotflmao

Mark, looks like the IC at board location U3 is cooked also. Replacing the caps and that IC might only be the beginning. It doesn't look like the scratch on the board was bad enough to have caused your problem unless it actually cut through the traces on the board. Best bet says you should just find a good replacement from a vendor here and save a lot of frustration yes

Oh, I see one of the legs is lifted on CR12 and it's shot to. I wouldn't count on R13 being any good either, but maybe Scratch Head

Cowboy,
I think the U3 component is only banged up a bit...I'm not sure if it's "cooked" really...
It looks scraped up on the edges?
Thanks for looking at it!! applause Clap  Sherlock Smiley

Thanks for the offer coors!  applause Clap Hail
However, let me see if I can locate the parts for this little puppy?
I want the blame if I butcher it up!  rotflmao
Actually, I'm pretty sure that if I get all the parts - I will be able to fix it with some help from board guys here on NLG.
What I need really though - is some schematics so I can power it up to try out the SMD LEDs too... Help
The board number is: 75126900 REV A >>>

I probably have to take it apart and see if there's something burned out...
everything thing else works now.
I threw in a DSV000051 and it plays the bonus announcer's voice before the Bonus Spin.
Basically yelling at ya to hit the Spin button...lol
Cool little kit!

Sorry Mark, Have to rub it in a little   stir the pot / get cooking

Look What I Just Hit !!!   Crazy Crazy

You might be right Mark, it looked like the surface of it had gotten hot and distorted in the picture, but even that doesn't neccessarilly mean it's wrecked. Depends on what it is and what it's used for.
