Hello everyone,
I am new around these parts, mainly I just stick to the searches of all your guys previous knowledgeable posts.

I have owned a Ballys 6000 slot machine for few months and the handle never goes back up after you pull it, after playing the max bet button it will finally go back up after a few games or so. I figured it was broken until I just bought my second ballys 6000 slot machine and it does same darn thing. Does anyone know what the cause is?

My newest addition as almost zero wear, looks as if it was hardly ever used, it was a $25 slot machine.

Any input would be great.

Thanks
Brian

This is uncommon for an S6000.  I expect that either the spring for the handle return is broken or off (no likely since you said it does go up eventually), next would be that the pawl spring is not installed correctly which allows the pawl to flip and jam the handle.  Or there is a foreign object such as wires or screw in the mech.  I deal with a lot of S6000 machines and do take the handle mech apart when I shop them out so have never had this problem.

Thanks,
Wayne

ya your right Wayne, the little pawl that makes the handle go click click click was getting spun around and locking the handle. I spun it around and handle works great but doesn't click anymore.  I have to play with it more.  I am happy  applause that the handle works don't really care about the clicking.. ha

Thanks a bunch

The spring may be bent, you can gently (dont break it) bend it back so the pawl is centered and it should work fine.

Thanks,
Wayne
