Title: bally proslot 6000 error message
Post by: clown2948 on May 19, 2009, 12:43:59 AM
I have two proslot 6000 and they were built with ticket printers. I want to remove the printers and do not know what wires I need to remove to get the machines to work. The first machine has three error code that flash 5.2.91    3.1.   100  Any help.  The other flashes 5.5.38    3.1. any help would do. Both machines turn on and talk to you. They are 2003 models.

I do not have a progressive on these machines. But they might have been when they were in the casino. How do i get rid of the code.

"Copyright Bally Incorporated All Rights Reserved"

I had a similar error with my 6000.  The slot is still setup to communicate with the casino's network.  If you put in a ram clear chip and do a complete ram clear it should get rid of the errors.  It did for me.

I think Jim at Blue Ridge Slots listed above will have it.  Send him a pm.

Jim definitely has them, your slot will have 2006 mains.  in order to set it up without the printer(s) you should do a ram clear then go through the settings setting up hopper only as a cashout device.  You can make all pays hand pay if you set the hopper limit to 0.

This post is in the wrong category, video slots.  I will have it relocated.

Thanks,
Wayne
