I bought a chime to complement the bell in my E-series.   Looks like there are 2 possible plugs to hook it up to:
a.  Plug with Red-Blue and Red-Yellow Wires
b.  Plug with Orange and Brown-Orange Wires
Which one is correct?
Thanks!

I am thinking of doing the same thing.  Did you ever figure this out?

Yes, I did.  Connect the chime to the orange and orange/brown wires.  The chime will ding when you put a coin in.  The bell rings when you win something.

I thought that one just makes the sound of the coins dropping, like a low tone, not the high tone like on a winning hit.

There may be different variations.  Mine chimes on coins and rings on wins.

Certainly - here's a picture of it.  You can see the brown/orange and brown/white used to connect to the bell (those wires have been cut at the connector).  In the new configuation, brown/white still goes to the bell, but brown/orange goes to the chime.   Ding on coin, ring on win.

I really wish I could put a speaker in it, but  I've been told the chip doesn't have the sound option unfortunately:(
