Use the word people as it cuts right to the chase and gets the point across that you don't want foul looking, smelling, or tasting strips and glass!  Think how great the world would be with nothing but minty kits!

I have only gotten one MINTY S2000 kit in 5 years.

It is a Diamond Tens 9" 3CM (The best clone of Ten Times Pay) I got it from TopHat79 if I remember right.
It still had the protective film on the reel strips (green) and the Glass is flawless and perfect.

Yep, TopHat79 is who I got my (used for a couple of weeks and then sold to IFFV68) Double Diamond Strike and that was a super minty kit!  That guy gets some clean stuff!  Maybe I should have custom Wrigley's Spearamint Gum glass and strips made!  LOL!

How many people here really have bought brand new, in the box (IGT wrapper) kits?

The only thing I got that came in its original IGT box is my Topper, it was unwrapped to be photographed for its eBay Auction.

I've gotten a few sets of reel strips, not whole kits. The strips were directly from IGT, but didn't have the green protective film. Maybe they don't do that for backlit strips.

Even if I got brand new strips, I'd still be tempted to wash them.  Haha!

I got a brand new reel glass, still in the IGT wrapper.
