Title: is this printer complete?

uv1700 ticket printer. it lights up when turned on, but machine trys to pay through a non-existant hopper instead of print. im not even sure if its not missing a top part or something? is this complete? thx

Printer looks complete but you need to insert the top ticket into the printer mechanism (should be a slot in front of where the tickers are laying in your picture.
When you insert the ticket the printer will move the ticket forward and back to index it properly.
Also is the machine configured to print a ticket on cash out, you might need a key chip or what ever they call it for that platform to enable printing tickets/vouchers for cash out.

Yeah matter of fact when it kept trying to pay from hopper i had to clear chip & set chip it all over again. Made sure it was set for ticket/ hand pay and only thing i could see it prevent hopper was set hopper to 0 coin payout. Hopefully that will work but frankly im afraid to press it now. Everything else (besides progressive programing- thats another topic lol) is working perfectly so i do not want to resort to cleaR chip again. :)
But good to know theres no top part missing on ticket printer. Ty!

The place where theticket entry slot is, is at an angle of about 45 degrees give or take.

Roger that. Top ticket slides in at 45 deg. Ill see if i can get it to load tomorrow.
