Title: Bally 5500 Bill Validator Thief Post by: jdkmunch on November 24, 2008, 11:42:09 AM I have a Bally 5500 machine that went completely dead – no error codes just dead. I replaced the power supply and it brought the machine back to life with this problem. When I insert a bill, the validator will take the money then beep turn red and blink 10 times and not issue credits. Sometimes after it blinks it will return to green sometimes I have to reset the machine to get it green again.
Could it be the mpu? The validator? Power Supply? I don’t even know where to start. Thanks! Title: Re: Bally 5500 Bill Validator Thief Post by: jdkmunch on January 03, 2009, 08:03:50 PM I tried to replace some chips on the MPU but nothing - I replaced the MPU and it works now.
