what does this mean, the "2" is when i power machine on with door "open."
"c" when i remove the reel assembly and power the machine on with door closed.
and "0" when reel is in and door  is closed???

i am 100% confused and need help!

also sometimes the "0" is located at =[0][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]= and sometimes =[ ][ ][ ][ ][0][ ]=
the "C" is usually at = [ ][ ][ ][ ][C][ ] =
and the "2" is always at  =[ ][ ][ ][ ][2][ ]=

Have you tried reseating the RAM board thats on the MPU?
Is the battery on the RAM in good shape?

Checked all the fuses? And inspect all the fuse holders for deteriation?
Check the power supply and the connections at the power supply?

May have to reseat all the IC's on the MPU and RAM?
May have to clean all the connectors on all  the boards?

These are things that helped me in the past with my E1000 & E2000.

I think the battery is good its the orig. i get 3.6-3.7 with the multimeter.

Not sure how to reset the ram board, i have removed it and reseated it, shorted the battery and such.

i did re-seat  he sip socket chips (broke a pin on 1 of them soldered extension to it to repair) however this made no difference?
All fuses check good with continuity test. and load test in a working appliance.
power supply appears to be good will check connections.

I thought that maybe i put the ram board in backwards but closer inspection shows pin 6 being omitted to prevent silly errors like that !

Check the pins on the RAM board, they break all the time.

Remove the RAM board and hold it to the light. Then look inside each socket to see it each still has the tab that makes contact with the pin.

"2" is RAM failure

Have you removed and inspected  all the IC's for oxidation on the pins  and reinstalled them ?
