I took some pictures of the Treasure Chest Bonus game on my last Vegas trip -- the concept is the same as "Jackpot Poker" for the second-screen four-of-a-kind bonus, just different graphics.

These machines are found in the Boyd casinos in Downtown Las Vegas (Main Street Station, Fremont, and the California), and are bill/coin-in, coin-out.

Sadly, this wasn't hit by me, but I did find this picture of a $0.25 Treasure Chest jackpot:

Played this game last weekend at Main Street. Hit the 140 coin win on my one and only quad.
Wonder who made this game for Boyd Gaming?
Also wonder if award is predetermined and selection is irrelevant, or if each chest has a different award? The game doesn't show you the unchosen chest's awards, suspect award is predetermined.

And wonder if there is PAR sheet out there for Treasure Chest?

Basically an 8/5 Jacks or Better with bonuses on four-of-a-kinds.

A great change of pace for VP players. Also like Aces/no Faces too!

Great pics Knagl.

I suspect that treasure chest was a custom build by IGT, but I can't confirm it.

I suspect that the outcome is predetermined for the quad bonus. I have Jackpot Poker by IGT (similar concept), and the math on that game dictates that the bonus awards are not weighted evenly.

I'd love to get my hands on Treasure Chest and also the Pay The Aces (No Faces) game you mentioned as well. (Game info here: http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=1486.0 )

Forgot to ask, did you ask for your scratch off card at MSS for your quad? That would have been worth a minimum of $2 extra.

There is no manufacture listed on the glass, next time I'll ask and see if anyone has an answer.

Saw a sticker on the machine stating something like, No bonus cards available for this machine and $3 played equals one slot point on this machine. So no, did not ask for the scratch off.
Hit a deuce quad on the Aces/no faces and hit the 250 coin three ace bonus. Didn't ask about the scratch off then either.  Duh!
Do plan on going back. They have a lot of coin-in poker machines.

I knew that the Treasure Chest Poker games were $3/point for the slot club, but that's news to me if they're excluded from the Score With 4 (scratch card) promo.  If/when you go back, could you double check the sign on there for me?  The last time I was there (which now was about a year ago) they still gave them out on those machines.

Also, if you happen to hit a Straight Flush or a Royal Flush, those two hands are also eligible for the scratch cards, FYI.

Yep, your right! Went back last night and the sign says "No Bonus Play on this machine". Meaning no free play. Don't know why I thought it said cards??
And of course last night I hit no quads.  hissy fit   That's the way my luck goes.

Took the motorhome to Vegas last weekend and stayed at The Main Street Casino RV Park. The park is a paved parking lot just north of I-95 on Main Street. Cost was a very cheap $16 bucks a night with full hookups. Nothing to brag about, you can hear highway noise and the area of town is not the best at all. But security was present, the park gated, and it was actually very nice. This way we can take our two dogs with us and spend the night!
It was a good time!

A slot tech at Main Street told me he thought (don't quote me, he said) the Treasure Chest Bonus Poker was acquired by Boyd Gaming after they bought the Treasure Chest Casino in Louisiana. Hmmm, I'm not so sure.
A check online of the Treasure Chest Casino revealed no Treasure Chest video poker at that casino. Still quite a coincidence.
They still give out the scratchoff cards for 4 of a kinds and some slot wins. When playing quarter poker the cards have a minimum $2 win, up to $5000. All mine were $2. The nickle video poker scratchoffs are minimum $1.
Played the Aces no Faces and hit four Queens on the draw. Later playing nickles I hit four aces with a deuce on the draw playing Super Aces for $100.00. Wish that hit would have come on the quarter Aces no Faces!!

Indeed!  Thanks for the report -- I'll be in Vegas next month, hopefully, and will have to take another crack at those machines.

Went shopping in Vegas today and decided to stop by Fremont Street. My wife put a $20 in a Treasure Chest poker machine and began hitting straights, full houses and flushes. Then she hit a 4K on the draw and won 140 credits.
A few hands later she again got a 4K on the draw and hit this..... Clap

Never thought I would see one of these!

Interesting that it was the first chest just like Knagl's pic. Hmmm, think I'll be picking the first chest from now on.

Sweet! Great hit!

...now can you get your wife to sweet-talk a tech there into a copy of the software so we can play this at home? Smiley

...and I'm with you -- I'm picking the first chest from now on, too!  I've always wondered if it makes a difference.

I do know for certain that the $1,199 isn't always in the mix.  I just don't know if all five buttons will reveal the same result, or if there is a difference in which one you pick.
