in the feature unit of my 892 bally EM are 3 g-type relays (reset, step-up, & jackpot). there are also 3 c=r relay that i can't identify. they activate while coining but i can't figure what they do. any help will be appreciated

The 892 is a Super Line, 4 reel single coin left-right pay. I've got one, and it doesn't have a feature unit! Could it be you have an 891 Continental? If you post a pic of the machine and the feature unit, maybe we can identify it and help you.

first glance looks like you have some REVAMP - the feature unit looks to be from a 809 that someone modified from 5  to 4 coin.   The glass looks like a professional job so I doubt this is a one only type machine - I have never seen this glass before.  also strange is it is 4 coin multiplier!

Agreed, it's a rebuild. The bell and light bulb are original 892 but the feature unit is not. It's lost the each-ways pay and the super symbols so the reel mech has either been replaced or extensively rewired. The glass has a vaguely "Games of Nevada" look about it.

If I recall correctly, the original 892 was a European model not sold in the USA. Mine was made in Dublin, Ireland.
