3-igt dbv,will take bills sometime/sometimes not at all--should i update all dvb to the new bills  yes/ no
poker machine--dbv 200 b123--head has a d 200023v2.40-04-3/transport has a wba 11-new 10

I would start by cleaning the head. Make sure all of the rollers are free of gunk and wipe down the optics, but don't use alcohol. Updating the firmware will not help if the unit is dirty or needs calibration. One of the vendors here offers updating, cleaing and calibration if you can't get it working on your own, but I forget who.

If you didn't already know, here is how to open the head to clean it.

cleaned the heads --that did the job except one the head must have been bad--had another installed it and worked fine--everything seems to be fine
