I've recently been shopped out several s2000 and have found about 1 out of every 6 or 8 has a bad power supply.  Does any one know what the most common reason for failure and how to repair.   Are they worth repairs or cheaper to buy used ones.  About what should I expect to pay for used ones?

thanks
Bob

Hi Bob,  I'm curious to hear the specific answer to this, however my experience with power supplies in various machines has always been bad capacitors.  I usually change out the capacitors and they are good after that.  I have yet to delve into the s2000 machines though.

Thanks,
Wayne
