My top bonus has died on my Quack Shot. Can anyone tell me a little about checking it out as not to purchase parts that I don't need?  It started as I would have to turn on the machine a few times before it (the top) would light up and work now the top never comes on and I get a 'top bonus' error on the lcd screen.

I have not look into it very much yet,  does the top use the same power supply as everything else or is there one for the top as well as the regular game power supply?

I do have a electronics tech working at my other location repairing video games but I know the first thing he is gonna say is, do you have the schematic, so maybe I can beat him to the punchline!

Would be nice to have anyway,

I would think it is the power supply. It is the same power supply as the normal one but is in the top box behind the actual duck unit.  There are two power supplies.

Thanks,  I found that out this week after I got a few S2000's in this week and noticed what appeared to be the same p/s that was behind the top bonus. After trying it in Quack Shot and seeing that was the problem, Samron send me a replacement p/s and 'quackers' is back to working great!

Let me ask what stepper game chips does it have? Do you have a split screen vfd display or does it just say insert 3 credits/Tokens real big? Also would you happen to have a set of stepper game 577 chips you'd be willing to part with?
Thanks,
Tommy
