hi all

just wondering if any1 knows where to get coin mechanism and optic board for an IGT joker poker machine?

dont know if i need both the coin mech or just the optic board.
is there a way to test that coin mech is ok?
the green LED light doesnt light up when machines turned on or is that because theres a fault with the optic board

If this is indeed a PE or a PE+ should it not have a 24V comparitor?? The green LED will not light up with the door open. With door optics and everything hooked up as it should be, when you drop a coin in where does the coin go, to the tray or to the hopper?  Some one correct me if I'm wrong, but it would seem if the coin goes to the tray, the Comparitor is not working, and if coin goes to hopper with out giving a credit the optics are at fault. Here is where I'm getting confused. In the picture of the comparitor, looks like a small coin installed. are you using this comparitor with the $2.00 optics?

hi Buzz

the coin come out in the tray when i put it in it doesn't go to the hopper.
the coin in the comparator measure 3cm or 1 1/8inches in diameter.
everything was hooked up properly i think, i disconnected the door optic so that i could play without putting coins and just press the button on optic board. is there a way to test if the coin comparator working correctly??

if you need anymore info please let me know

The coin comparitor you have is the wrong one I think...
It's a 12 volt one...grreen wires  no
I think you need a 24 volt one...( with gray wires)
That one HAS to be fried! Burning Resistor
Place an ad in the "Classifieds" section of NLG for another PE coin Comparitor.

Turn this little screw counter clock-wise all the way to the left
and try dropping some coins through it with the door closed.
Let us know what happens>>>

It is safe to do so.
The machine probably will not record any accounting or statistical soft or hard meters.
Probably other things that do not function as they normally would in normal game play: Handpay, jackpot etc.

When you get a chance, please post a picture of your door optics
and maybe a member will be glad to help you out!
