I have a slant top Game King.. I just finished swapping out my deck buttons panel from the 10 button to the 14 buttons to be able to play I-Games.. My bill validator was working when I had it set up as a Game King.. First I received the CRC Mismatch Error, cleared that, now the machines bill validator cycle and lights up, but will not accept any bill size? I see a red light on the side by the dip switches? I don't remember seeing that before.. All the dip switches are in the off positions.. I get the same results with all 3 bill acceptors I have, I know they are good and all have the latest software installed.. Any ideas??   Scratch Head Help

Gary You have been around long enough to tell us better than that.  What lights up, the red LED's inside the head or the yellow light on the front of the bezel ?? If the yellow doesn't light up your wasting your time trying to put a bill in it.

You say the BV cycles, does that mean it runs a little bit and stops are does it do a complete cycle ?? I can't really explane what a complete cycle sounds like, but if the WBA doesn't run a complete cycle it will never work, If it does run a complete cycle it still may not work, but with a complete cycle at least you have a chance. Turn on one of your other machines with a working WBA and listen real close to the sounds it makes, now do it the second time and you should hear what a complete cycle will always sound like.

You said you changed games, I Games don't always set up exactly the same. Try pressing the test button go into set up, then machine options and then Net Plex auto config. Might work and might not but worth a try.

Great minds think alike...or at least that's what I'm told (but I'm not vouching for that OTHER guy, or ME)! That's what I was getting at with the game change question!!! But I knew he was way ahead of us there, and was hoping he maybe just forgot a step or something! It happens to all of us...

This is my first attempt with setting up an I-Game, just picked it up.. As for the red led I'm see, it's a reflection on the side of my cabinet. It seems to be coming from the area of the carrier where the dip switches are.. I don't remember seeing that before? As for the cycle of the bill acceptor now that you mention it, I think it started, then stopped, then does a full cycle.. The bezel does light up, and take in bill. It the rejects every denomination tried.. I will go into the menu again tomorrow and double check the setting again. Like I said earlier this is my first I-game setup. Did it by the seat of my pants, I didn't have a cheat sheet to help me.. I did my GK 4.3 and 5.3 fine?

Could be credit limits, but you'll need to check. Also check game denomination once more (if you're sticking a $1 in, and game is set for $5....).

I have denomination set at a penny. As for credit limit I think it set at $400. I'm using the same $20 bills in this machine that I have used in the past.

I'll bet it's set at 400 credits and not 400 dollars.  Jack it up to 100,000 credits and see what happens.

Try a one dollar bill.

Buzz.. I went in the Netplex Auto Config., it says Spectrum not Responding.. When you push Auto Config., it say requesting, then goes back to Not Responding and then the Bill Validator cycles? Any other ideas?

It's a Progressive I-Game?  no Or does Spectrum refer to something else when pertaining to I-Games?
