I have some of these with no stickers as to what program is installed.
Other than testing with bills is there any way of knowing what program is installed on the flash chip?
I see in the manual about how to flash the units with a new program, but can you read the file to know what is loaded?

You need the flash tool from jcm to read or write to the flash on the board.  No other way other than a responsible tech actually putting a sticker on the unit saying what is flashed on it.
