First-Did it ever work for you?
Second-Make sure the CF is fully seated and that the MPU door is closed

When you say "new conversion" did you change the software for a different game?

Your problem is you need the matching EL keys for the new software...

Oh Oh.........The dreaded EL Key. If you don't have one, Best of luck finding one. It took me about 2 months to track one down. Maybe someone here has one for sale now. no-one did when I was looking,...but again good luck.

One other thing to try. Make sure that the chip numbers match the CD number, don't just look at the game name. I have one of mine still not working. The chips are a 32 and the CD is a 56. they must be the same.

This is the error:
THE SYSTEM CANNOT CONTINUE:

CF2 CRC DOES NOT MATCH STORED VALUE

TASK 40 (TSK_SYSTEM)   TASK_ADR:08112A88    TASK_DRI:120

TASK_STK:08D579D4C(DEAD BEEF)    TASK_SP:08D67914

THIS SHOWS UP ON BOOT UP OF THE GAME WITH A TAN BACK GROUND

2.O uses no EL keys, the older version used it with the CD in the top box.

Is your machine a Advantage +?...If so, it uses CF (compact Flash) and you have to have the Ram Clear CF if you change out games...Do you have the original software and have you tried to re-install it?...Does it work?
