You know Stout, in addition to the direct reference to the Trail of Tears, in your case I can't help but also think of the Firesign Theatre's line (in a satirical advertisement reflecting the U.S. being stolen from the Indians)  "And here's the beautiful 'Trail of Tears' golf course."

It might be from the album "Waiting for the Electrician, or Someone Like Him."
If I can remember for certain which album it's from, I'll post it.

LOL

I know...but I was really referring to how we collect (okay, me then...lol) so much stuff sometimes,
there's always like one room where it looks like that show I watched a couple of weeks ago
where this woman and her daughter hoarded so much stuff that they eventually sold everything
that filled up an entire shopping mall store!

Wow...That was really one long friggin' sentence...lol

My grandmother's house was like that. Three stories (including the garage) of rooms full of stuff. It was a great house to play in. The cool thing was that if we needed something, the chances were that she'd have it buried somewhere. She had everything from professional chemistry equipment to mimeograph and ditto machines, from Peanuts playing cards to glass beads, and from old Ham radio equipment to brandy snifters.

By the way, the quote from the Firesign Theatre was actually from "Don't Crush That Dwarf. Hand Me the Pliers."

I share your frustration with the Wii being the most popular game. At Christmas, my grandchildren never turned on the slots, Pachislo, Pachinko, Juke Box or the Arcade games. They played the Wii ( Madden 10 ) and the 2 crane games and the youngest threw the balls around on the pool table. Go figure !

One of the benefits of having your children grow up and leave the nest is that you have more room for Slot Machines. Not much different though but need money before they'll work.  arrow      Mike
