Can't get this error code to clear, I think I read once that 55 has something to do with the bill acceptor or the cash can. I checked both and everything looks fine. Any ideas?

Yeap .. Error 55 Bill Acceptor Stacker Removed: Signal received from the bill acceptor that there is no stacker.

If the BV keeps running with the cash can in place, the can is bad. I've had several bad cans that do that.

I have not delved into the why as yet but the plastic ones are the worst. The best indicator is the BV will not reset...just keeps running. If this is your issue, Rudy's is the best place to find cans cheap.
