15 years in aviation before my current occupation.
Mostly in corporate jet maintenance and parts sales. Loads of flying time, but never actually got my license.
I knew it was way too expensive to keep up and that's when gas was cheap.

Had my private pilots license on single engine up to 9/11, lost it afterwards with all the crap you had to go thru to fly...and stay current.

I took flying lessons back in the 80's.  Cessna 152. I absolutely loved it.  It just got way to expensive with my part time super market job paycheck and the fact that my Weekly lessons kept getting canceled due to poor weather.
Got most of the basics down but never got the chance to practice cross-wind landings.   no

Solo'ed in a 182..sweet plane over the old 152 I learned on...flew a piper once, strange looking down at the wing instead of having it over you head...

This was my latest.
Went to Ohio and jumped with a my niece in Green County.

We had a blast and I loved the jump until I ended up with a line twist on deployment. Fought it for another 30 seconds before it straightend out.
