Does anyone else collect old gasoline pumps? This one is a Tokheim 39-B
made in July of 1953.
I have cleaned, Polished, Sanded, And painted every nut and bolt, and part on this pump.
I left all the working parts on the inside of the pump when I restored it so you can see
how it works. (Most people gut them)  The pump still runs when you pull the knob by the
gas nozzle.
I have 3 more in the garage to restore someday........ I can't wait to retire!!

They always have a few gas pumps in the VCA auctions. They fetch insane prices. The older pumps, the hand pumps with a glass tank, often go for more than $15,000.

I have one that I restored.
I also have mine where it works when you lift the lever.
I gutted out the pump and motor and installed a 20 RPM motor to drive the  meter
I still like to here the bell ring for every gallon pumped.

Bunker,
I was WAY ahead of you on that one.
I was going to have it dispense beer, but I was stuck with one kind.
So I put together the wall of beer next to it.

Is that a Bally EM next to your wall 'O beer?

You guys have done wonders restoring those old pumps. applause applause Hail Hail
Now, if you could only dispense gasoline from them at the stated price on the pump, you'd really have something.

Neat stuff...

I have a tap tower with 3 taps..... but I had no handles. A couple of loose key strokes on ebay and I now have 70 of them.....

I am looking for creative ways to display them - the wall-o-beer looks good but I really don't want to have a 35 foot rail.....

We have a store dedicated to Lift Master.
These are hydrolic lifts that allow you to put 2 cars in the space of one assuming you have the head room to do so.

This store has a number of antique gas pumps on display. I love the look of some of them, but could never justify the space that they take up as they have no actual utility and putting a fully restored one in my garden would be a sin.
