Hi rotornaut,

Have you tried CasinoTech?  They are the authorized service center for Kortek monitors...if anyone has that information, they should (if they're willing to share...).

http://casinotech.com/index.html

Good luck with your quest...

God bless,

I have tried Casinotech, they seem to have manuals and schematics that I would probably have to eamil a request for. Not a big deal. After taking apart 5 or 6 of these I got a decent handle on what they need depending on different symptoms. ususally just the power supply or inverter, although I have had to replace 2 or 3 A/D boards. Thanks for the advice....

Flashing Green LED=Power supply
Red=Solid LED no connection to game or Bad A/D board.
No LED=Dead LCD power supply

Power supplies are super easy to rebuild, barring there is no explosions or otherwise damaged boards.

***Beware of the jumper from the A/D board to the inverter board, the inverter side is almost impossible to take off without damaging it. I found it easiest to break the top side of the female end of the connection, (on the inverter itself) with a tech screwdriver/tweeker then the connector/jumper will slide out easier.***

Haven't learned how to rebuild the A/D boards yet. Will post again if/when I do.
