Good Morning,

Ok. this is my situation: I pressed the cash out button and instead of printing out a ticket the hopper wheel started up.
Put in a key chip and went into 7.2.1.1 ( validation type). It was set for "enhanced", tried to change it to Standard but It wouldn't let me.

Also after putting the Base chip back in and starting up the machine, I did not get any error messages as I thought I was suppose to.

This machine is an S2000 5 reel.

Any Ideas

Is the hopper still spinning? The keychip won't work as long as there's still credits on the machine or an unsatisfied payout pending

Ok, So what do I need to do to clear the credits and the unsatisfied pay out?

Put some coins or tokens in the hopper and let the machine pay out the total amount. If the hopper runs empty open the door and recycle the coins in the hopper until finished. The other way would be to clear memory which would require the machine to be setup through the key chip. Hope this helps.

I'm sure that it will. I'll give it a try.

Thanks, Larry

Thanks for all the help, It's working fine now.

I haven't used a clear chip in about 8 months and I have read not to use one only as a last resort, so I was a little cautious.

Thanks again
