Title: Ticket Printer - PSA-66-ST S.R.2.4.0
Post by: jimmy c on November 12, 2010, 07:16:50 PM
This printer came out of a UV 1700 Sigma machine.  I am trying to put it into a IGT Game King 31 video poker machine.
What I need to know is:

Will the wire harness from the Sigma work in this IGT printer.

How would I connect them and is it possible?

The Game King printer is a PSA 66ST001N - STP V2.1.1 - this printer ribbon cable and the program board is missing.
The original power cord for this printer is still attached to the Game King.  How can I splice the Sigma wires to work in the Game King.

If you need better pictures I can send them.

Someone brighter than I will have to explane why, but it won't work in a Game King.  The letter N in the part number stands for Netplex ( IGT uses Netplex ) you have PSA-66-ST
I've been told you can change the board on your printer and change it to Netplex but the cost is more that the printer is worth.

I agree with Buzz.
You're better off buying a Netplex printer on ebay for like $30 bucks,  than to change the board.
