1.  "main door closed"  means the door is closed, this is not an error.
2.  "24vt fail"  not sure what this is!
3.  "coin out jam"  check the hopper and make sure there are not coins stuck/jammed where the coins exit the hopper/optics
4.  "overpay"  I believes this means the hopper over paid a coin.  Make sure the optics are clean, no dust balls.

to clear error you normally have to opern and close door a few times.

I'm not real familar with the bally you're working on but I hope this helps you.

Bob

If you post pictures it will help make sure we give you the right info.
Post pictures of the front of the machine and one with the door open to start.
But at this point i think the power supply is going out.
The reset button on the video poker like the one I have is on the front of the MPU tray.

Again, I don't have much experience with these machines, but the 24vt fail may mean the power supply is bad.  No 24 volt output.

The CC won't power up with the door open.
Did you find out why you have the "24 vt Fail" error?
Post a picture door open and hopper removed.

Have you tried pushing the rest button on the front of the CPU?
I would look behind the on/off switch for the P/S.

It has a key to open the cpu or pull it out. I have hit two reset button on the front of the cpu with no luck.

It looks like you will need to get the CPU open.
From what I can see , it looks like the P/S is on
the right of the CPU.

Yes, P/S is short for power supply.
The only way to open the lock is to drill out the center
and remove the pins and turn the lock.
The lock is made of brass and shouldn't be too hard to drill.

You will pull out the CPU board on the tray and post a picture of the
board and what is in behind the switch/breaker area.

I drilled the lock and removed the cpu. There is a microswitch that senses the cpu when it is slid in place. I unplugged the cpu and removed it, reinstalled it , installed the hopper, turned on the power and wala! blue screen with prompts! Filled the hopper and now functioning just fine. Thanks for your help and support.
