Hi all,
Most machines that I've personally seen have 'cool white' bulbs in them.  I picked up some DAYLIGHT F15's at Lowes for $6 apiece.
The difference is night and day.  The standard cool-white bulbs have the incandescent button bulb feel... The Daylights have the LED button bulb feel and look... It makes the machines look 10 years newer and the glass look snow-white, not 70's white... Lol
Sorry if this has been discussed before, just thought I mention it.

Sounds like a good idea but I wonder what it might do to the reel strips over time?

I don't leave my machines on, so I wasn't concerned with that even though it crossed my mind.
However, the cool whites are 825 lumens, but the DayLights are only 700...
They are actually less bright, but its a whiter light, it "looks" brighter...

Have to agree. My machine has "daylight" bulbs for the reels and the upper scoring screen, while the lower logo has a "cool white" bulb. The daylight bulbs look much nicer, with a slightly "pinkish/orange-ish" color, while the cool white has the typical ever-so-slight greenish industrial hue to it. The daylight balanced bulbs look more like incandescent bulbs, and (somewhat ironically) give the machine more of a "dimly lit casino" feel.
