Title: Igt s-Plus 61-1 Post by: bobert on October 30, 2013, 07:48:26 PM Hello everyone wanted to share my latest with code 61-1. Wanted to check out a Igt S-plus MPU I had in the shop. Here is what I did. Removed the mpu from a IGT s-plus, RWB, that was working normal, and inserted the board I wanted to check. Board would not clear 61-1. So...Ok....Lets put the original good working board back in and leave things alone....Ah...All is well, No but wait now the original board will not clear 61-1. I did all the regular things to clear the 61-1 but to no avail. So after about 5 hours I said now what???? Here is the end of this story. After replacing the original board in and out of the machine a bunch of times I discovered the last time I inserted the board a little bit harder and Walla>>>> All this time the board was not seating in the home possition as good as it should have and not making the connections on the mother board as it should have....Whew.......And I still don't know if the board I wanted to check is good or not. Now I'm sort of Gunshy......about removing the board again. What a great experience.........

I enjoy playing them a lot, but I enjoy taking them apart and doing whatever can be done to them. So experimenting with spares and different options it's where the bulk of my enjoyment comes.
