I had two twin boards to start with.... i had plenty of spare custom chips.

the board had a sync signal but the tv just won't sync with it, rpelacement of CP13 - HN62404P ic fixed the sync problem.
the board booted with a message "error com ram", rpelacing CP16 - X0-006 RP5A10-0001 fixed the problem.

SW3 switch is manual reset
JP10, near reset switch,  is watchdog enable (if you cut you disable watchdog)

i also got "error color ram" sometimes booting, i replaced the 47uF/25V cap in the reset circuit.

after some burn in i had the word "Tilt" written and the board just resets.
i traced it down to the input IC marked X1-004 (the TILT and SERVICE inputs were stuck low, even with external pullup theyr status didn't change (you can use test mode by dip switches to check).
replacing the big X1-004 ic form the spare board cured the problem.

burn-in -> ok.

side note:
if the eprom (27C64) marked UA2-2 is missing you'll get "error X0-006"
