Few things are better than fixing an old game...

As most of you are aware, I have my own forum section for repair logs. Well, with this new board layout there is now a NEW section for all NLG users to keep their own repair logs!

NLG Users Repair Log's

The challenge is this: Jump in, create your own threads, and share your knowledge!

It doesn't have to be component level board repairs. It can be troubleshooting various wiring harnesses in slots or even how to repair problems in mechanicial slots! Everyone that digs in and fixes their own games (or games for others as a repair service) has knowledge to share!

Come on folks!

This isn't just restricted to you repairing things. How about posting repair and troubleshooting techniques? How about modifications?

It also isn't restricted to slots. How about pinball, pachinko/pachislo, 8 liner, or arcade games? Shop gear? Power supplies?

This would be a great spot for centralizing that knowledge!

I'm new to the NLG forum. I'll be happy to post with my Bally model 809 issues as I become able to. From what I've seen of this forum, the NLG Users Repair Log's thread could be and should be quite full of useful information. I beleive something as simple as a light replacement or lubrication technique would benefit others. Thanks for starting this thread and I hope to contribute soon.

I havent learned how to repair a board yet, just learning to set the odds actually, and that is a challenge. Just learning, so thank you for challengiing all your "upperclassmen" in this school. I am just starting preschool dont you know!! It is joker bonus 96 and is on 5000 fruits x 1, it has hit the other 3 fruits and has been on the last of 4 fruits and has 3000. dollars put it in since on last fruit. any ideas anybody?

Everything is possible in the electronics world of slot machines... from basic repair of a power supply, up to processor updates for video cards and MPUs. It will requires you education, knowledge, experience and logic thinking.
