hello

I am trying to backup some MK6 M27V322 eproms with a new Wellon VP-490 programmer but when I compare the backup and eprom they don’t match. Do I need to do anything to get it to work correctly or is maybe the eprom programmer faulty?

Hey Smiley

Yep it's all good thanks.

So there no need to change any of the default settings in the the programmers software to get it to work?

No should work straight away,
As per the doc we all use the VP280, being same brand I'm sure it should work for you ( instructions etc.)

I have a vp280 as well but couln't see the M27V322 listed on the supported eprom list so i didn't try it. I'll have to give it a go when i get home from work.

I gave find4auto a K+ for you since you can't do it yet, and I gave you one too while I was at it. +1 (Karma, or whatever)

The VP-280 supports 48pin. The Mk6 eeproms are 42pin

The VP-390 will do the job no problems since the VP-280 is no longer made.  yes
