I have 2 MK6 video slots.
I replaced the game chips in both machines due to the chips were removed by the seller.
One machine came up and works great, the other one came up with this error.
I swapped the MPU boards between the 2 machines and the problem follows the MPU-Eprom board.
I tried 2 sets of game chips and have the same problem.
Is this a bad MPU board or am I missing some thing?

Have you double checked the EEproms are in the correct positions and the right way around as printed on the board?

Appears an easy troubleshooting technique would be to put the questionable EPROMS in the known good board and see if they work. If they do then you know the EPROMs are good and you have a bad MPU

Just got off the phone with Dave (kenokarz) and we have decided that the MPU board has a problem.
We reburned the eprom in the Aussie format and now we get "eprom header error".
It appears that the MPU is having a problem seeing the eproms on the board.
So now I will will be looking to get a MK6 XP MPU board.

K+ to Dave for his help.

Thanks again David for all your help.
