I just purchased a aristocrat esprit slot and when you turn it on it lights up but it makes this buzzing sound and dose nothing else
if anyone can help you'll be a god among men.

Ah, another Esprit. We've had a few discussions about those. Use the "search" button at the top and look for "Esprit" to find them.

A  good start to your problem might be to check your power supply, check all fuses;

F2 - 7A
F3 - 1.5A
F4 - 1A
F5 - 1.5A
and F6 - 7A

The power supply is situated in the front right hand side behind the flap that lifts up above the reel mech, there is a thumb screw under it that holds the psu in place.

 Scratch Head 3 is the "buzzing" sound coming through the speaker or is it from the handle release solenoid  Scratch Head

Thanks for the reply guys, there is a clicking sound From the speaker and a noise from what i think is the turn motor ( black box with a cog behind the coin barrel )
