Mike   When you get as old as I am you learn to plan for these situations.

1 Go in and tell your Boss to stick his job where the sun doesn't shine.

2 Go to the bank and draw out your life's savings.

3 Buy a one way ticket  and fly to Vegas.  ( you won't need a room, just gamble all night )

4 If by chance the earth is still spinning come midnight Sat. night there is only one word to describes your situation " your F**ked " no job, no money, no room to sleep in and no ticket home.
   Take my phone number with you and in three hours I can be there and bring you a Old sleeping bag I have !!

Here's my prediction: At exactly 6:42:42.42 PM Magrathea time, the Vogons will cause large cracks to open under each of the RVs containing the doomsday soothsayers and swallow them up, because the slow RVs had been clogging the hyperspace bypass.

The mice who were studying them will file suit against the Vogons for ruining their experiment, and the rest of us will meet at The Restaurant at the End of the Universe for drinks later on in the evening.
