Title: Game maker questions
Post by: use001 on September 20, 2010, 09:55:58 PM
I'm interested in buying a bally game maker but not sure if would be the right fit.
I like games other than slots, keno, bingo, some poker.  can i get table games like 3 card poker, ride'm poker, pai gow, craps, war,
red dog, draw hi-lo. More or less like random type gambling games. are there many for the game maker, at least 20?
What video gaming system would be a fit for those type games? if not the game maker.

thank you

The most games that you can have on the GameMaker at any one time without changing chips is 10, but you can mix or match the types that you want ie: slots, keno, poker at the same time

most card games that you find in a casino are available in one format or another for the GameMaker...keep in mind tho, there are some games which require more than one program chip so if a certain game you have installed uses 3 chips, and the rest only 1, you will only have 7 games installed on the board

i had a great slant top with a 17 inch touch screen machine for years, however im not much of a card player and i really dont like video slots except for the igames

i personally wouldnt own an upright machine like the GameMaker or GameKing, due to the amount of time you spend playing cards using the touch screen or the deck bet...i like to lean into the machine...then again, maybe im just lazy and am closer to my adult beverage since they have those really nice and deep wells on the right side that used to be for coins

you also might want to get a few opinions on the Game King also, to see which might suit your needs better

thanks for the info guys.

When looking to buy a game maker are there different versions to look for? does that make a difference in game choices?

I noticed looking for games i didnt find many on the web, what are the price ranges for games? anywhere to get a peek at them?

are there more games in category of -
LET IT RIDE   CARDS
DOORS TO RICHES   PAIRS
MAGIC SYMBOLS   FRUITS

Also what are some of the more popular poker and blackjack games. i like bonus screens and such.

thanks again all.

Doors to Riches is unusual. There are five doors and you pick three. There is at least one winning combination under the doors every time.

Just my 2 cents  :200-
I've tried about all of the games. The graphics are not close to a stand alone game, however, I will allways have a G.M. Not sure where I posted it (search and you will see the pictures ), but I cut my bar open to put one in. Only thing I put on that one is "poker" games . The wife, and most people that come over play that one  :103- . I have an upright ,with spare boards (diff. games) that I change out. Even though the graphics are not as great as my other video slots, I still like playing it.  Actually,my goal is to pick up three more.

As far as the table games... I have not see three card poker, pai gow, craps, war,etc for it...  Let it ride... If it uses 5 cards,i would say they have it.

I have had 2 GameMakers.  One I gave to my dad the the other I sold to my Uncle. One of them I got from Ranndy0777 (Hey Randy) Thats the one my Uncle now has. Anyway my point is I enjoyed them both greatly, and My dad and Uncle Love and Play there's all the time. Plus the prices are good.
