Hi All

Does anybody know what the difference is between these 2 platforms and am i correct that its the platform in between the gamemaker and EVO ?

I'm not a Bally expert, but I believe that the Game Magic used a CD-ROM (where the GameMaker used EPROMs).  I believe that you're correct that the order of production was GameMaker, Game Magic, EVO.

Knagl is correct. The GameMagic or V8000 uses a CD for the graphics, gameplay and sound. An eprom is used on the MPU as a key or base chip. The GameMagic also utilizes an elongated monitor like the Odyssey.
