I have a Reel Touch that works OK except for topper. When starting up topper light up OK. When monitor boots up center light on topper
turns off, chaser light keep working. Tried different topper with same results. Is there a difference in regular 2000 & reel touch power supply
output?
Thanks Ford

Have you checked this power supply in the top box?

Game was missing power supply in top box when I got it. I put one in from an alpha that worked.
Lower power supply I put one in from a regular 2000.
Maybe I should look for other power supply for top
Does power for topper come from bottom power supply or top power supply? I thought it came from bottom.

Topper should be powered by the lower supply and there are two different amp levels available on those. Damned if I can remember what they are though. Might be 8 and  13 amps but don't hold me to it

Its the same power supply that you would use on any standard S2000 or I-Game.  The ones made by "3Y Power" are the best for quality.

Yep, just checked my two, 3Y Model CP 9826, Output 13 - 16.15 AMPS, +25V 8.4 AMPS, Total 300 Watts.

Thanks, Guess that's not it. I tried 2 other power supplies from other machines and no difference. Pisses me off, everything else works.

Possibly try a new netplex board and check for continuity on the harness that supplies power to it.

Thanks Jim, Sounds like that will have to be next move. Hope to get to it this weekend.
Maybe forget about topper. But they look so much better with topper on.
