The only place you'd see ANY benefit from that card is if you were playing in a LAN party setting... AND if the LAN party was using all gigabit switches for connectivity.

3. The standard PC bus cannot generate high enough output to drive a ethernet card at a GIG. This is why PCs have the AGP bus for video cards as PCI didn't push enough bits. The suggestion to go to a 64bit interface is a good one but the number of People that have a PC worth 6K are few and far between.

I agree. Never heard of DSL getting anywhere near that speed.
